The Turks & Caicos Islands (“TCI”) Telecommunications Commission (the “Commission”) received an application on March 3, 2019 from AFF Installations Ltd (“AFF”) for an Internet Service Provider License to offer wireless internet services over the 2.4 and 5 GHz ISM spectrum bands. AFF Installation’s application was submitted in respect of an INS-2 ISP licence, a subcategory of ISP licence which limits the service capacity of a network to five hundred subscribers.
