In November 2019, New Skies Satellite Licensee B.V. applied for a VSAT spectrum licence to establish satellite connectivity with foreign and domestic aircrafts traversing TCI airspace for the provision of inflight internet services using Ku Band frequencies in the 14 – 14.5 GHz, 10.7 – 12.2 GHz, and 12.7 – 13.25 GHz.
