Re: Spectrum Allocations Pertaining to the 700 MHz Band
WHEREAS, the Telecommunications Commission pursuant to section 30 of the Telecommunications Ordinance 2004 and sub-sections 4(6), (7) and (8) of the Frequency Management Regulations 2005, the Turks and Caicos Islands Telecommunications Commission hereby gives notice that it proposes changes in allocations pertaining to the 700 MHz Band and in the method for authorizing the use of this band.
NOW THEREFORE, the Commission announces the release for comments and consultation on A Policy for Assignment of 700 MHz Spectrum document.
ACCORDINGLY, the Commission invites comments from interested parties on this proposed policy for assignment of the 700 MHz Spectrum. Comments should be submitted to the Commission within 3 weeks of the publication of this notice, and should reach the Commission by Friday, May 6, 2011, at their office at Business Solution Complex, Leeward Highway, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, or by mail to P.O. Box 203, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, or electronically via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. All submissions should be filed electronically even if also filed in paper form.
FURTHER, the present consultation process also permits any party to submit reply comments in reply to any matters contained in another party’s comment filed with the Commission by the stipulated deadline of May 6, 2011. Any such reply comments must be filed with the Commission in the same manner as described above and must be received by the Commission on or before 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011.
