New Skies Satellites BV has applied for a Private Network License to facilitate satellite-based In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) services using Ku-band frequencies onboard domestic and foreign registered aircrafts that operate within the airspace or airports of the Turks and Caicos Islands. IFC will enable passengers to access the internet, television, and other multimedia services while onboard registered aircrafts, throughout all phases of flight. This service will be deployed over the following Ku-band frequencies:
