The Turks and Caicos Islands Telecommunications Commission is initiating a consultation process to gather the views of stakeholders, the general public, and other interested parties regarding the establishment of a framework for granting conditional exemptions to the statutory requirement that at least 51% of a telecommunications licensee be Islander-controlled, as set out in the Telecommunications Act.
